R.P.E?

RPE stands for Rate of Perceived Exertion and is a subjective measure used in fitness to gauge the intensity or effort level of an exercise or physical activity. It provides a way for individuals to assess how hard they feel they are working during a workout. RPE is often measured on a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being very light or easy and 10 being extremely challenging or maximal effort. It takes into account factors such as heart rate, breathing rate, muscle fatigue, and overall perceived effort. RPE is a useful tool for individuals to self-regulate their exercise intensity, especially in situations where monitoring heart rate or using other objective measures may not be feasible. By using RPE, individuals can adjust their workout intensity to suit their fitness level, goals, and current physical condition, ensuring a safe and effective training experience.
