  3. 03

    Progress you can see

Four-week cycles with a test week, so there's always a number to beat.

How it works

Written once. Rebuilt for you.

Each workout is written once with a clear intent. ARDOR rebuilds it for you on the day. When you log a result, your profile moves toward what you actually did.

Wednesday: built from each updated profileNext: Wednesday, built from each updated profile

  1. A coach, an athlete, or you write the workout once: the format (for time, AMRAP, EMOM, intervals, or strength), movements, reps and rounds, intensity, and notes. Then it's published to the program.

  2. On the day, ARDOR rebuilds it from your profile: estimated maxes, one-minute capacity (what you can do fresh in one minute), pace fade, bodyweight, and the equipment in your gym.

  3. Train against your own personal goal: a predicted finish time, rounds, or distance. Use the live tracker or log it afterwards, and record what you actually did: weights, reps, time, and rounds.

  4. Your result is compared with ARDOR's prediction: how far you beat it or missed it, as a percentage. Leaderboards rank everyone by that percentage against their own prediction, not by raw time.

  5. Your estimated maxes, one-minute capacity, pace fade, and level scores move toward what you actually did. After a miss, your next target eases a little more than it rises after a win. Your next workout is built from there, and the original never changes.

A new athlete. A new intent.
Every month.

Each month a partner athlete sits down with Pat Vellner and designs one workout around a single intent. Then the whole community does it, each version adapted to the person doing it.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Clear answers about training, personalization, and how ARDOR works.

Ask us something else
What is ARDOR?

ARDOR is a training app built on workouts by intent. Every workout is designed by a person, whether a coach, a partner athlete, the community, or you, around what it's meant to do. ARDOR then rebuilds it around your time, equipment, ability, and readiness, so you hit that intent every session.

What is the Vellner Program?

ARDOR's community program, programmed by 5-time CrossFit Games medalist Pat Vellner. Six themed days a week (three strength, three conditioning) in four-week cycles. Pick a 30-, 60-, or 90+ minute version each day, and ARDOR personalizes every session. Included with Monthly and Annual.

How much does ARDOR cost?

ARDOR is free to start: one logged workout a week, plus unlimited partner athlete workouts and workouts shared with you. New members get 7 days of full access with no subscription required. Full access is $19.99 per month or $119.99 per year (USD), managed through the App Store.

Do I need a gym?

No. Workouts adjust to the equipment you have, so you can train in a full gym, a home gym, or anywhere else.

Is ARDOR good for beginners?

Yes. Movements and loading scale to your current ability, from beginner to advanced, and progress at your own pace.

How does ARDOR personalize workouts?

ARDOR compares your past performances to predict what you can do next and sets a personal goal for every workout. It fits the session to your time, equipment, and readiness, and adapts as you progress.

When will Android be supported?

Soon. Pre-register on Google Play and you'll get a notification when the Android app launches.

Does ARDOR work with any wearables?

Not yet. If you'd like ARDOR to work with a specific wearable, let us know through the contact form.

Does ARDOR connect to HealthKit and track workouts outside the app?

Not yet. Let us know through the contact form if you'd like us to prioritize it.

Can I import my workout history from another app?

No, but you won't need to. ARDOR learns your ability quickly: after 2–3 workouts, its strength and speed predictions fall within 5% accuracy. No endless tapping to log your history.
